Torquing the Shock Bolt




The bolt that holds the shock absorber to the lower control arms is a heat treated bolt that you need to torque down at 110 ft-pounds:

This keeps the front suspension together correctly. Here is a picture of the bolt:



I was kind of worried and skeptical about this bolt and the way the front suspension and shock absorber fit together; however, after torquing it down, the suspension acted fine, and the sloppiness on the shock mount was not an issue.
