Bendix Duo Servo Brake Shoes




The 1963 Rambler American uses Bendix Duo Servo brakes. The front and rear brakes shoes are the same. They also are the same as the rear brakes on a Plymouth Valiant, 60-65. The Raybestos part number is 114PG. These are fairly popular brake shoes. I have some new Bendix shoes, as well as some relined ones. The Bendix number is the same on both brake shoes, FMS433, but the relined ones don't have rivets. The rear shoes from the 330 don't have rivets either. Personally, I like the rivets holding the shoe on, but make sure you don't wear down too far or you will score your drums. Here is the instruction sheet that came with my Bendix shoes:
