Replacing the Fuel Filter <<  <   >  >> We used a Fram CG7 fuel filter. At least on our engine, a 196 OHV with the POWER PAK, this filter fit well with the smaller of the two gaskets: It appeared that the previous filter used a larger gasket, and it looked like it had scrunched in on itself and might be inhibiting fuel flow. Here is how our filter looks on top of the fuel pump: Note that the NAPA coss reference for this part is slightly bigger, and the spring nubbin was an innie instead of an outie. :) (convcave vs. convex... you like that better?)
