Replacing the Starter
Our 440H has a 195.6 CI engine with the POWER PAK option. Our donor car with the messed up frame is a 330 with an L Head engine. I was able to remove the starter easily from the 330; however, it is quite difficult to get at the starter on the OHV engine. I don't know if the POWER PAK option makes much of a difference because of the linkage or not, but I had to remove both the front and rear linkage connections and remove the front linkage assembly from the head to get the starter out:
I also had to disconnect the cable bundle on the wheel well:

I had a new rear bearing that I installed:
