Removing the Rear Hub - Part 2




Removing the Rear Hub:

Although there is a bow tie that fits over the end of the puller that you can hammer on, we used a 3/4 inch drive ratchet and a 1 1/8 socket to crank down the puller. Do be careful. The hub can come off with some force:

You can see the slightly tapered splines where the hub attaches, as well as the key that keeps the hub in place:
