AMC 6 Oil Pan Set

Best Gasket makes a gasket set number 24028 for AMC 6 184-196, 1953-63, and Nash 6 600/Ramb-State 41-52, according to the listed applications on the label. Now, we have a 196 OHV engine. The gasket fits this just fine, as you can see in the pictures:





Here is how I decided to align the gaskets on the end. I used a little Permatex Ultra Copper RTV silicone sealant to keep the corners in place, but I did not run a bead or anything. From what I've read, the best way was to not use another kind of sealant, so that is what I did:
